I have very sensitive, finicky skin. It has become even more so after pregnancy. One of the biggest changes has been that it’s gotten much drier than before. However, it can still breakout! One of nature’s cruel jokes on new mom’s. So I desperately need the extra moisture that a face oil can provide but often find my skin getting congested when I use one. I am so happy to say those days are OVER! I have found the bomb face oil that not only moisturizes without breaking me out, but somehow it has smoothed the texture of my skin. Sort of in the way a mild alpha hydroxy acid would, but there are no acids in this oil. Not sure which ingredient is responsible for this, but I chalk it up to the fact that there are so many anti-inflammatory ingredients in it that it dramatically reduces the inflammation in my skin resulting in a smoother texture. Just my unprofessional dermatological assessment. Say that five times fast. It’s called Dr Jackson’s 03 Face Oil and I have been using it for about three weeks now, long enough to really see it’s effects on my skin and I am SO happy with it. It is made from 100% natural ingredients and it’s very effective.
Dr Jackson’s 03 Face Oil: Details
This line of skincare was created by Dr. Simon Jackson using “Pharmacognosy” which is the study of medicines derived from plants and other natural sources. Dr Jackson’s Face Oil uses oils such as Baobab oil which is high in vitamins A, D and E and has been shown in studies to improve skin elasticity. It also uses Marula oil as well as Arnica and Calendula for their anti-inflammatory effects. Here is a list of the ingredients from their website:

Dr Jackson’s 03 Face Oil goes on very smooth and leaves you looking dewy and moisturized. The smell is DIVINE. However if you are not a fan of essential oils you may not enjoy it as much as I do. It is a very earthy, calming, unisex smell that I happen to love. You only need 2-3 drops to cover your face. It absorbs fairly quickly, and I like to add my moisturizer over top of it to really seal it in and keep me moisturized all day long.
So if you’re like me and have sensitive skin, you really should give this oil a try. It is so moisturizing and effective without irritating the skin or causing breakouts/congestion. I’m eager to try some of their other offerings. Their day and night cream look awesome. This product is out of the UK and isn’t sold at too many places here in the states.
